All our instructors have RDA qualifications. They have a wealth of experience in riding, caring for the disabled and are very friendly and welcoming!
CRB
It is a requirement of RDA Membership that all new volunteers are CRB checked. More about the RDA’s CRB policy can be found HERE.
Volunteer with us!
We are always on the look out for enthusiastic and caring volunteers. Volunteers, with a few hours per week to spare, come from all walks of life. We welcome volunteers of all ages (above 12 for insurance purposes) and all abilities. We often need help from knowledgeable riders, carriage drivers and BHS and Pony / Club instructors but WE ALWAYS WELCOME VOLUNTEERS WITH NO EXPERIENCE IN HORSE RIDING AT ALL AND WOULD LIKE MORE TO JOIN!
We provide free basic training for all our volunteers.
Our rides often require several volunteers per disabled rider as sometimes, you need one to lead and one on each side for safety. If you are able to help with children and adults, or perhaps, with our non-riding events, and would like to be a part of a very worthwhile enterprise, we would love to hear from you!
